AI: Benefits Corporate Learning

Corporate training content in the learning and development field could greatly benefit from using artificial intelligence.

AI can handle administrative tasks, interpret data, and predict outcomes, ultimately assisting humans in their work. Various AI tools, including ChatGPT, rely on deep learning and natural language processing to achieve this.

Although some in the L&D industry may have concerns that AI could replace their jobs, experts believe AI should be viewed as a helpful assistant in the corporate training process.

We held a poll on LinkedIn and X (previously known as Twitter), asking how AI can benefit corporate learning. The results showed a majority for ‘All of the above & more’, while ‘Increased Productivity’ followed in a close second on LinkedIn, and ‘Intelligent Insights’ was in second place on X.

AI is transforming corporate learning by improving productivity, providing personalised learning experiences, offering intelligent insights, optimising employee development, and enhancing performance support.

  • AI-powered Chatbots and virtual assistants automate tasks, freeing up HR and L&D teams to focus on strategic initiatives.
  • Adaptive learning systems adjust content and difficulty based on progress, resulting in a more engaging and efficient learning experience for employees.
  • AI can improve learning strategies by analysing learner behaviour, identifying knowledge gaps, predicting future needs, and suggesting changes to content.
  • Learning systems powered by AI personalise the delivery of content and identify areas that require additional support to enhance engagement and retention.
  • AI assists skill development by offering personalised guidance and efficient resource access.
  • AI-supported platforms facilitate continuous learning and upskilling, fostering a culture of lifelong learning and enhancing organisational success.

In today’s digital age, investing in AI for their L&D departments is crucial for organisations that want to prosper.
